Just when I thought I got the hang of approaching, I get AA bad for the first time.

I was on a bus and sat next to a HB, it was crowded at first and I didn't think I'd open. But as the bus got less and less, my new instincts kicked in. "Open her damn it!, you'll never get a 2nd chance!" My head knew what I had to do, go in with the jealous gf opener (I haven't updated my openers), people won't care, I won't lose anything if I fail, but if I succeed I get to meet a HB and all that shit.

In the end, I was paralysed all the way. At least I try to tell myself that having AA is better than not wanting to approach at all and I'll practice and try harder next time.

Moral support? Pep talk? Belittle me until I get enough rage to start sarging again?

NOPE. We've all had this happen to us. We secretly tell ourselves it won't happen again, but many times it does. You just have to really make yourself and motivate yourself to "WANT" that not to be you anymore to make change in your life. If you "want" that change more than anything else then no one can stop you from getting what you want.
