When meeting a group of people for the first time where there are going to be a lot of attractive girls and other men, how important is pre-selection. Its a sociable dinner for a society of sorts which I'll be new to; should I bring with me a wing, a woman to appear pre-selected or go alone? Do I befriend the men first in order to DHV? If I don't bring a girlfriend- do I hint at one/several, or do I keep it secret in a playful way?

imo befriend the guys first, as not only will it show dhv that you are cool and make friends quick, they are less likely to cockblock you.

of course bring a pivot if you got one. sure cant hurt.

What do you want out of the interaction?

This is critical for deciding who you want to bring along.

If you want to get numbers and maybe a few kiss closes bring a female pivot/old friend.

If you want to just be social, bring a few guy friends and one or two female friends.

If you're looking for an ONS, bring a pivot with her own car or go alone.

See a trend? Pre-selection is a KEY attraction trigger. It says to the girls 'I'm not a creep. Other girls like to hang around me'. It is CRITICAL in seduction. The three attraction triggers are all critical and preselection is one of them.
