Alright. I know you have to feel comfortable with your hairstyle, but I realize that there are also hairstyles that are designed around your face type. So, just because it's a hairstyle you want, doesn't mean that's the one you should get. That's my belief anyway. I think it's practical, even though a lot of people say "do whatever you like." Well, sometimes whatever you like looks like complete shit and everyone knows it. But look at these hur:

The man in the picture is Chris Cornell, lead vocalist of Soundgarden - and in these pictures - Audioslave. This man is an HB10 on just about any woman's scale, I'm sure. He just exudes confidence, dresses nicely, and he could probably be a model. Now, I'm not going to lie, I don't look anywhere near as good as he does, but do you guys think that hairstyle is a little too "rockstarrish?" It's really not a haircut I'd normally get, and I'm afraid I'd look like a douchebag with it. Keep in mind also I live in Arkansas, not LA or NYC or somewhere. But I've never seen a haircut appeal to me more than this one has. It's the generic "spiky" look, but I've never seen it in this style before.

He's not THAT good looking, IMO, take away the hair, the instant feeling you know hes a rocker and the clothes and u got what looks like an AFC who works at office depot. But, like you said...

All you need to do is find a hair style you like, dress nice and be confident. I've noticed good changes by just using better eye contact and body language.

Haha. You should look him up on Google and see his transformation from the early 90s to today. The dudes like 45 and he's looking awesome. You can tell in the mid-90s he decided he looked like shit with his waist-long hair and camo pants and decided to make positive changes.

One of my main problems is confidence and body language. I need to get those in serious order first, but it's harder than I expected. I wanted to start with better dressing (thats why the webinar excited me so much. Can't wait for it to be posted on puatraining), and a trendier hairstyle, so I could erase the "old me" (a tip from soneone on this forum. Do it for the sake of not feeling like the same loser I was before I came to this site) What he has looks kind of like the hair AFC Adam would go for, but could you imagine that on Sean Messenger? Wouldn't work. I just wanted a general opinion from people. Would it make most people look like a douche?

So you think girls will think that you are sexy because of your hair? You have a long way to go to learn about what girls want. Seriously. It isn't hair. It isn't abs. It isn't your smile. It isn't cocky-funny.

You won't gain confidence by faking a look. You still will not be comfortable with yourself. Enjoy life moment by moment. Love yourself and love life. Sounds totally goofy, but I promise you that it works. Read about "mindfulness". The s--- really works.

Did you not listen to a word I said? This isn't about remolding myself with plastic surgery.

Assertion A: I would like to become confidence with myself, which is very key. I think a change from my old self would help me positively change the way I perceive myself.

Assertion B: I think this hairstyle may come off as being a bit too rockstarrish and try-hard. I'd like to know what other people think about it.

Obviously I have a long way to go, or I'd wouldn't have signed up for this site and began studying.

If you like this style and think it will look good, I say go for it.

Its all about the way you hold yourself, it's all about owning it, thats all that really matters. That said feeling like you look damn good is a part of that, your building up your confidence one brick at a time.

If you are comfortable with who you are this will come across when you sarge, self confidence is all part of inner game, and obviously, getting a haircut that you love and feel confident wearing is 1 of the steps to said inner game.

By all means shop around, but don't think that this hair cut is too 'out there' for you, afterall, hair grows, can be restyled, cut, dyed, you name it, its only hair.

If a haircut gives you that much self-confidence you have a lot of unresolved issues. The insecurity on this forum is amazing. Trust me. Look from within. Hair is the least of your problems.

This isn't a site for improving who YOU are. The first step is realizing that getting "hot chicks" doesn't improve who YOU are. If you let some girl define your worth you will never be happy.

Don't get so defensive. I am the one telling you that you don't need some foolish looking haircut to get the girls that you want. Get a short easy to maintain clean looking haircut. Then live.

Give off the right energy and they will come. Haircut not needed.

I become defensive because it seems the tone of your post is a snipe, and you seem a little too smug. As a person who DOES have some unresolves issues, I'm perfectly aware of it, and am trying to take care of it. And it's a little irritating when your critisism is more malicious than it is constructive(or it seemed that way, even if you weren't trying to be that way). Obviously, a haircut alone won't make me feel like I'm seven feet tall and made of kryptonite, but it's common knowledge that the better you feel you look, the better you just plain feel. I haven't heard of one instance where feeling as though you look good doesn't generate extra confidence, so I don't know what the problem is. If confidence not a part of that energy that attracts women that you were talking about, kindly tell me what is.

If this isn't a site for improving who I am, then what is it for? I realize having a hot girlfriend does nothing to define me as a person, but the point of this thread was about hair and hairstyles. I, as you seem to have picked up on, have a lot of reading to do and a lot of things to improve before I think of going after the "big fish." Which is why I'm here, starting small. One thing at a time.
