Hey dudes,

I really do not like drinking when i sarge because it gets expensive and i feel like crap the next day BUT when i do get a little buzz going i'm able to do some bold things. For example, i sat down in a large curved booth of peeps who i didnt know, introduced myself and tried to kiss one of the girls within the first 5 min of meeting her. She had no idea it was coming but after that she couldnt take her eyes off of me and of course i got her #. The problem is i would never do that sober, at least at this point in my comfort level.

I dont know where this post is going. Have you guys ever done bold things that shocked the girl and ended up making her incredibly attracted to you???? did you do this sober or drunk? how do you work up the courage to do it sober? and trust me i take improv and acting classes and its STILL hard for me to do this sober!

If you can do it drunk, there's no reason you can't do it sober. Being drunk just brings out parts of us that are already inside. Try not to think about it too much, and it'll happen.

Many can't do this correctly even when they're drunk because it's difficult for them to hide the, "I'm only doing this because I'm drunk" frame. If you had success with this direct approach, then try it out with 1 less drink next time. Your successful result will give you more confidence to do it again the next time . . . perhaps with 1 less drink . . . then finally try it out after swigging a coke.

That sounds like some of the most logical advice I've heard on this board.
