I wanted to get a collective opinion on this. I have never had too much trouble picking up in the past. But after reading the game and if even half of it is true I am seriously lacking in game. I guess I fall into the AMOG category. Talk and muscular with a natural luck with women. But the field reports from the book and on this site leave me feeling on the outside looking in. I guess from a score point of view I do allright, 50's.

Back to the ? Do you think that using some of the PUA tactics will improve natural game? I have run a view routines similar to the ones discussed here but always impromptu. Do you think practicing them will improve results or does the off the cuff seem more natural and alluring?

You need to realize that there is a full spectrum of PUA "schools"

I come from the more 'natural' camp. Where it's more about using mindsets and techniques than structured game.

The Game introduces more of a routine based structured approach. I know people who do well with that style too.

You just need to look at all the different avenues and see what resonates with you the best.

So... As humans, I think we all recognize patterns over time.

So yeah, I use some 'routines'. You could call them that.

Like whenever someone asks how old I am, I always have the same response...

HB: How old are you?
ME: Guess...

Then they guess and I guess them. But instead I stop and back away, fully check her out, make her spin around and then guess her age.

Gives me an opportunity to check her out, turn things sexual, make her realize I am comfortable with silence, telling her what to do... yada yada yada

So, you can incorporate some stuff into your game and it will TURBOcharge your game. Even if you are already good.

I think it all depends on the person. I have known naturals that are experts at what they do, and they have no idea what they are doing or how they are doing it, it just comes natural. Part of their success comes from the fact that they are not always in their heads. I have messed up some of my friends game temporarily by explaining their own techniques to them, it made them self conscious of what they are doing and threw off their whole natural rhythm.

So my advice to you is DON'T completely change your natural game, if it's not broke don't fix it. Instead study pickup objectively at first and try to find things that you can take from structured game and integrate into your own natural game. Things like NLP or cocky funny, might suit your style. You might want to focus more on understanding the mindset of women. Maybe even try to hone your body language and conversational skills. These things can be integrated into anyone's game, even a natural. Not to mention that there is a whole field of game that focuses upon being an Alpha male and most recently upon natural game.

So there is a a lot you can learn, but you need to find what's right for you. Game is much broader and more expansive than you realize right now. "The Game" is only the starting point, not the whole bible of game (regardless of how it appears).

dude if you are naturally good, dont mess yourself up by studying pua, you need more alpha male training probably thats all, as far as i know naturals that are confident in themselves and their actions are alpha males themselves, its better to just improve who you are then your skill because your skill is natural, you have a healthy dose of social interactions which you should keep up
for me after being anti social for like 3 years and reading pua i look back and i know exactly what pua breaks down and its the exact things that naturals dont think of but happens subconciously or "naturally" i dont know if it answers your question or not but its better not to study the techniques, just be more alpha male

Thanks for your thoughts. Like I said Dont have too much trouble but always room to improve. I find that a lot of the situations that guys post in here looking for guidance seem a little odd. I'm sure most of them already know the answer and just have to find a way to access the info.

Was kind of thinking as others have mentioned that scripted game my mess me up. Will toss a couple out there next time out to try. Will consider it a social experiment and update after..

Yep, realize that there is more to PUA than just scripted game.

I have a bunch of friends that are "naturals" and they can still benefit from this stuff.

But like I said earlier, it is more about concepts.

So concepts like:
Going for the makeout is only going to INCREASE attraction.
You are more likely to get blown out from NOT escalating than OVER escalating.
Whatever you feel she feels...

Concepts like that can give you like a little 5% boost here and there and push your results through the roof.
