Hi, need some tips for my school, I am in Engineering school and there aren't many chicks there, so I'm left with girls from other places and I usually see hot girls walking to and fro, it's also really crowded sometimes.

If I approach a girl from behind, I either put my hand on her shoulder to get her attention or talk to her over my shoulder as I walk past. As we talk, I slow down and she slows to a stop with me. If a girl is walking towards me, I make eye contact and basically just get in her way... you need to be kinda upbeat when you do this, and smile! It's really important to smile. Also, don't be too upbeat or she'll think you're one of those street survey guys. Put your hands out in front of you to kind of will her to slow down - think about a dog which is growling at you and you wanna reassure it that you're not gonna rape it and take its purse - palms down, arms out in front... you know how I mean. So do that, smile, be upbeat but not really high energy and crazy, just enough so you give off a warm and friendly vibe.

Of course, whether you approach from the front or the back, you gotta say something too, cos if you just do that without saying anything you're gonna look really fucking weird. Picture it in your head for a moment, it's hilarious. Personally I'm just like "hey, woah... slow down a second I gotta ask you something" then when she stops, I do my thing. They don't always stop when you do this, sometimes they can even be rude. That's nothing personal though, she could just be having a shitty day.

And I know a lot of people say you should approach at an angle so she can see you coming but not head on cos it's confrontational, and you shouldn't approach from behind cos you'll scare her and make a bad impression and shit. Forget about all that, I've done it quite a few times and never had a bad reaction. Just go have fun and if you see a girl you like, approach her. Worrying about how to approach her is gonna give you analysis paralysis, so just get the fuck over there and stop her and get shit done.

and if they are rude due to a shitty day, what better way than to make them happier than with a little neg?
