I am a college student and i am at one of our schools basketball games. So during the timeouts and halftime our schools dance team performs on the court. So I'm sitting their and notice a girl that I am instantly attracted to and she is just gorgeous. Call me crazy but I could have sworn we locked eyes for a good 3 seconds. lol. Anyways, I know a few of the girls on the team but wouldn't feel comfortable asking them about this new gem I have sighted. I was walking to class today with a couple buddies and sure enough walked right past her and we just stared eachother down like two boxers before a fight. She was by herself and I was with a couple of buddies so I didn't really feel comfortable walking up to her. But as soon as I passed her by, I got that worthless feeling that you get when you let a pickup opportunity slip away. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for me if the opportunity happens to arise again. By the way, I asked a kid i was with if he knew anything about her and he said that she has a boyfriend. That doesn't really bother me bc i have hit on girls with boyfriends before...just wanted to throw that out there so you can get a feel of the situation. Any clever openers would be greatly appreciated. oh, and she was wearing a jacket with our dance team's name on it...

the more you see her with out saying ne thing to her the more afc your going to look like... Next time you see her walk up to her and use an opener. yall go to the same school and what not so there should be lots to talk about..

i agree with head first.
open ASAP... otherwise you're going to come off as super AFC.

as for an opener... depends. you could just go "hi" if you're into direct game or try something situational/observational if you're going indirect.
seeing as she's been staring at you etc, she'll recognise your face. this is good. creates a small sense of familiarity.
i'd probably do what i did before with 2 of our cheerleaders...
walk up to her next time you see her and:

you:"hey, you're on the dance team, right?"
her:"yeah..."
you:"great. what would be the best way to ask out a girl on the dance team who obviously gets a lot of attention from other guys too?"

she'll answer blah blah, probably ask a few questions etc. blow them off and tease her answers etc.
