So, I was walking in this the classroom and sat down. This HB9 suddenly walks in as the class starts and sits in the front. Around two metres away from me. I catch her glancing at me a few times.

So my question is, how do I open when we're already seated? Should I have opened during the break or when class was over? Can I open next class? Has my value been lowered because I didn't approach during breaks or end of class? Or is it still the same because I didn't approach at all?

What I ended doing was chatting up the guy beside me, just so I have practice how to DHV her if I get a chance next time.

In terms of opening sat down and opening next time, both are fine. Just do situational opener, such as "man this lecture is sucking" or anything it doesn't really matter.

Also because she is in your class you will get hundreds of opportunities to chat to her. Just make some plans and hang out with her.

Tomorow is my first day back and I will be in the same situation....I think Im going to just induce myself because no one will know any one. make some small talk and then at some point ask them to hang out.

Man, just pick up your books, sit down next to her and tell her the seat next to her looks like more fun or something equally nonchalant and corny. Proceed to talk her up for the class. Profit?

Try to answer teachers questions and open as soon as possible. The longer you wait the less chance you'll have.

Why answer the teacher's question then open? My target isn't the teacher...
