Not sure about this idea, but it has always been on my mind.

I have always wondered, are there any generalized physical traits that would severely hurt your chances of picking up a girl, despite the accepted idea that looks do not matter.


I have a very youthful and "kidlike" appearance in my face. By kidlike I mean that I do not have any manly features at all WHILE looking young for my age. I believe this puts me at a severe disadvantage compared to most guys. I used to weigh 145 and put on 30 pounds of lean muscle. This has helped a little bit but it does not change my facial look.

Here are some things that typically happen to me:

I get hit on by a ton of gay guys (they like that youthful, innocent look)
Girls repeatedly call me adorable and cute (never have been called sexy)
I get carded at the mall of america (for looking under 16) and at rated-r movies etc (I am 23).
I cannot remember a time where I have been double-taked


My main point is that I have feeling extremely confused. I can converse fine with girls and consider myself an interesting, charismatic person. I am well put together (in terms of dress, walk etc), as this is something I have worked on for a while. however, girls (especially girls above the age of 20) are unwilling to escalate anything physical on a personal or sexual level with me, despite the fact that I can hold a girl's attention in a conversation. It is always like there is something holding them back.
