ok heres the deal.i have a friend i like very much and i saw her last night and things were good.she hugged me,she grabed and squeezed my hand,etc..theres plenty of trust and comfort built.but my friends brother was all over her and i left everybody early because i was beat last night.i guess my questions are:what would have been the best way to isolate her?
is there anything i can do to boost her attraction towards me?
whats the best way to beat my friends brother to her?

i know this is my first post but it always seems i always get stuck after building trust and comfort.

in places like clubs, just put your arm around your target, whisper in her ear "let's get away from here." and boom. you've isolated her.

the thing that happens to most guys after the trust and comfort is that they know that they can isolate, but they have escalation anxiety.
This usually comes from the same thing that drives approach anxiety. What is she rejects me?
But once you just suck it up and do it, you realize that it's not so bad after all =]

Best way to isolate: Invite her to do something alone. You have enough trust and comfort, tell her you want to go clothes shopping and want her opinion or want company while you look for a CD or movie.

Not sure about boosting interest in this case but as for beating your friends brother, aside from telling your friend to tell him to back off, which may be good or bad. Use body language to block him off, command her attention with an opinion question or a routine, get a friend to wing for you and distract him while you isolate her. In a club setting you could always ask if she wants to go grab some pizza or dance or go to a quiet part of the bar.
