I met a girl on campus and got her number. So now it comes down to asking her out. I told her I was craving sushi and was wondering if she wanted to come [already knowing that she liked sushi]. She replied that she was busy all weekend but Sunday may work for her. I already had dinner plan with another girl on that night, so I didn't want to cancel for a maybe. Right after that I went on vacation for a week. When I got back her number didn't work! (wtf!?) So, I emailed her and she said:
"why didn't you tell me sooner?!! anyway, as a temporary number, i have my mom's phone, its xxx.xxx.xxxx its usually with me so if you'd like you can call"
Called it... she was busy. Then I txt'd her the next day asking if she was free to meet one night during the week. No reply. The next day she txt'd me saying how she doesn't want to use her mom's minutes but she's on MSN and we could chat there. So we chatted and she never mentioned meeting up, so I didn't want to push it again.
Now for my question.. how can I ask this girl out again without looking needy and should I even bother? Is there a C&F way of asking her out in this situation? Obviously I would not ask to do dinner/sushi again, maybe something fun and interactive like Go-Karting (?)
FWIW she's a really quiet choir girl, different from the girls I've dealt with before, and something about that turns me right on, so I'd really like this to work.
TIA,
Newbie/AFC
