Inspired by the M3 thread in General.

What are the different models? Mystery obviously has the M3, but what about the others? For DeAngelo I always hear "C&F", and Swinggcat seems to be all about the "prize theory". But that's the problem, they seem to be about techniques rather than actual models?

Or am I completely missing the point?

The M3 model was created by Mystery and many other pickup artists to create one of the best working models we have for courtship. This is the only real "model" that I'm aware of.

There are tons of "theories" out there but no real A-Z models other than Mystery's that was first introduced in the Venusian Arts Handbook. There are tons of strategies escalation patterns, routines, ways of thinking as well but yet still no other model.

The M3 model isn't really perfect but it's the best model that we have to work from in the since of the steps and phases.

The thing you learn about from going out is the M3 model isn't completely linear. Meaning you have to have attraction, before comfort, and then seduction. True that as Mystery says, "Attraction + Comfort = Seduction". Still you can start in comfort, back fill attraction and still get to seduction. You can start to get the point here. There are various ways to go about things.

Hope it helps.

Thanks JSmooth, that completely clears it up. That was actually what I was thinking.

And yeah, I am an AFC but I realise everyone is different and a model set in stone will very rarely work.

If it wouldn't take anyone too long, is there a rundown of other major strategies/patterns/routines? Just the names basically.
Or a list of the mPUAs and their main forté.
And yes, I have just checked the stickies.

I know this is going slightly off-topic but this is my thread and I'll do what I like with it! ^_^

I'll try to give you a quick rundown on the mPUAs and what they offer. At least the ones I know off the top of my head.

AFC Adam & Richard la Ruina "gambler" at the top of the site gear more toward becoming natural, and doing natural type game.

Mystery, Matador, LoveDrop of the Venutian Arts use the structured M3 model, canned material, and routines to get the girl.

Sinn former instructor for Mystery Method aka Love Systems is out on his own and incorporates ideas from the Mystery Method and others to form his own game. He's one of the best instructors in the field period. He's also on this forum.

Captain Jack - Also, former instructor to Mystery Method aka Love Systems he specializings in sexual escalation and same night lays. Many mPUAs who wanted to learn Same Night Lays go to him.

El Topo - He has the RedStack in which he helps you develop a consistent routine stack to use to escalate the conversation sexually. He is also pretty well know for his ability to get the same night lay.

Mehow- former instructor for Mystery has ties to the M3 model in what he does, but like Sinn incorporated many of his own ideas as well, and branched off.

David DeAngelo- known for his "Cocky Funny" approach to getting the girl. Has written many books, and DVDs on different aspects "inner game" and ways to view the world as we know it as a 'real guy." He frequently has guest speakers like Mystery and others.

Hypnotica - hands down one of the best guys in the field for NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming. He specializes in "inner game" and has produced DVDs amongst other things in this regard. One of the original founders of the community he's been around for about 15 years or so, and is on this forum.

Real Social Dynamics- use to be very similar to the Venutian Arts or Mystery's company in the beginning. They are now going for the more natural approach and ways of doing things. There are still ties to the M3 model but most of those have been severed. They have top instructors like Natural Tim, Tyler Durden, and Jeffy.

Ross Jeffries- considered one of the founders of the community. Teaches NLP and other controversial aspects of hypnosis to use on women.

Tere are other greats out there but I'm not sure of their teaching styles. Other guys out there like Sean Messenger, Cameron Teone', Stephen Nash, Johnny Soporno, and others are great too.

hope it helps

You, my friend, are a legend. PUAF doesn't have a rep system, but feel free to put +1 in your sig or something..

Hey man, Jsmooth has already posted something of a list but just to add a few more:

Vin DiCarlo
Main Text: The Attraction Code

Main guy when it comes to natural game. He basically focuses on making you think like a natural. Keeps away from routines or anything of the sort but basically tries to set up a system whereby you become a naturally great "pua" without having to think about techniques or stages of attraction etc.

in10se
Main Text: Game (published under the name 'Blake Richards')

Draws largely on NLP and related fields but, rather than using embedded commands and covert hypnosis, he focuses on other NLP derived ideas such as value elicitation and frame control. Divides his approach into Skillset (outer game) and Mindset (inner game) and gives techniques which can be used to better each and to be used "in-field".

Juggler (Wayne Elise)
Main Text: How to be a Pickup Artist

Haven't read much of his work but from what I gather he focuses largely on developing your general social skills with an emphasis on picking up women. Somewhere in the field of natural game.

Carlos Xuma
Main Text(s): Secrets of the Alpha Male, The Art of Attraction

Focuses on making you into an "Alpha Male" (or, at least, Xuma's interpretation of what that is). Those qualities then make you attractive to women which allows you to pick them up.

There are heaps of other guys out there and, to be honest, it can seem at times like they contradict each other at times. But there are basic principles behind pretty much all pick-up, destruction of certain limiting beliefs being the main one.

Isn't Real Social Dynamics kinda the biggest school out there? At least I think it was at some point in the past couple years. It's funny that you guys missed that one.

Originally part of Mystery's program until branching off (Papa and Tyler Durden) in 2001, as you will probably remember reading in The Game. No longer resembles anything at all of what Mystery does, and is now fully a part of the natural game bandwagon.
