When I'm out girls always say to me "you look like....." and then one of the following people:

Owen Wilson
Kurt Cobain from Nirvana
Jerimiah from Detroit Rock city
Judge from Australian Idol

I'm developing a way to act like each of these people, kind of like role playing. What would you say to respond?

I always take it as a compliment. But what does it really mean? I'm thinking it's a definate IOI.

If girls are coming up to and saying this it is a HUGE IOI. Your thinking is on the right path. It really means she thought you were cute enough to come talk to you.

I look at this like a girl coming up to me complimenting me on something I'm wearing or anything else a girl comes up to me for. I give them the same line as Mystery just because it works so damn well.

HB: You look like Owen Wilson...
YOU: No I don't, you're just attracted to me.
HB: Seriously, you look just like him!
YOU: Okay, bring it on...&

You are acting like she is just hitting on you. If you walked over to a girl and was like you just looked like 'Taylor Swift' they wouldn't believe you either. So call her out on hitting on you at first by saying "No I don't, you're just attracted to me." You need to have the "Yeah, right..." type of mind set.

The only thing I want you to listen for at this point as a denial. If she says no she's not attracted to you but stays around to talk...SHE IS. If she doesn't say anything but stays around...SHE IS. If she says she's not and leaves, OH WELL. OR she could say "yeah I'm attracted to you" I'm assuming you'll know what to do then.

You don't have to keep bringing this point up just store it in the back of your head. Opening done, move to A2.

It's a compliment so thank them. They I'd throw in a neg. Eg Tell them they remind you of a foreign exchange student you used to have a class with.

I screwed it up NYE, went to talk to this group of girls and the best girl of the group a HB8 says to me "you look like the judge from australian idol". I just said "thanks". Then I talked to them for a little longer and said "I'm leaving soon and going to another pub, because there's no one cool to talk to" (With a smile of course).

Then I cruised off and talked to my friends for a while and as I was leaving the HB8 sees me and says "Hey I thought you were going to another pub". Another IOI. So I talked for a bit. Then we left.

I'm stupid I really am. Even after reading "Mystery's guide" and "The game". I guess I just need to practice.
