whats a good opener to use if im on my own, jst walking through town. n i wanna 'get an opinion on something'

TBH I think the opinion openers are on the way down, try something funny and situational, for example I saw a guy who had broken down on the motorway and was pushing his car, so I wrote on my laptop in massive letters "Fred Flintstone" showed it to someone in another car and pointed at the guy. Obviously it wasn't a pickup attempt but is a good example of taking a random situation and using it to your advantage.

Another good method is to ask someone if they know where you can buy something but make it something completely random, (a ball and chain small enough to fit your tortoise, as he keeps running off)
