I have been reading this forum for a week or so and decided to use some of these techniques to try my day game out.

Since it was my first attempt, I'm sure it was sloppy and I need some help.

I walked into a store that just sold sunglasses...There were no customers at all, just the one HB8 worker. So I started off with a "wow your really attracting all the customers over here" in a playful way, she smiled and I then started asking her questions bout sunglasses..trying on a bunch, asking her opinions etc... I was being as playful as I could with this. There were some hideous looking glasses that she claimed were for men. I asked if girls are attracted to those kind of glasses and she said yes. I then said " so let me get this straight, If I were to be walking down the street and you saw me in these glasses, you'd be like damnn check out that guy" She responded with a "oh yahh in a heartbeat"

Long story short I kept this up for a while trying to get to that comfort stage...I eventually asked for her # at which point she told me she had a fiance! I looked down at her hand and indeed saw a ring on her ring finger.

I guess since it was my first attempt, I didn't even bother to look at her ring finger before hand (it was actually hidden most of the time). If i saw that ring at the beginning should I have run that "ring routine" to check if she was actually engaged? Also, I didnt really deviate from the whole sunglasses theme too much..it just felt wierd at the time and that she would think im hitting on her. Is this a normal feeling at the start? I mean I had a bunch of situational openers I could have moved into, but I never thought the time was right. Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

Sounds like it went alright too. I mean there are only so many things you cam chat about in a sunglass shop right?
