background on my situation:
I've met his HB9 a few times, she works with a friend of mine... we first met @ a party and she came with some guy but somehow we ended up exchanging phone #'s.
Next time I saw her was on a Friday at her job and she says "Hey we should do lunch sometime" so I said "i'm free Thursday, and i've been craving sushi" she goes on about how much she loves sushi etc...
Earlier this week she sends me a txt and says "we'll have more time at lunch if I meet you there and you order before I get there"
(shit test right?)
So I said "you crack me up, we'll work it out, now stop thinking about me so much!"
So Today here's how our texting conversation went:
Me: hey! How's your week going? We're having lunch at Sushi Dono tomorrow, what time is your lunch break?
Her: um, I need a rain check for lunch, our company's CPA is going to be at my office all day and my boss sprung this on me last minute
Me: sounds exciting! I'll be sure to have a spicy tuna roll for ya!
Her: Thats ok. Not a big fan of those! =)
Me: smart ass! =P

So, is she blowing me off, did I F it up, or am I just looking too deep into this?

Well she said she wants a rain check... If she didn't want to meet up with you I think she would not of mentioned that.

To be honest, I think I'd give her the benefit of the doubt here. It sounds like you played it pretty good, and still have a shot. If she does it again however, I'd just ignore any future texts from her, or juat not make any plans, and when she tries to make plans with you, ask her why, she's just gonna flake out anyway. Life's too short to chase someone who don't wanna get caught.

I think I'm just second guessing myself because the responses I've been giving her is not how I would normally operate, although I know its the PUA way of doing things, I'm still new to this stuff... trying to break out of my old AFC ways. I'll wait it out and let HER call me.
