Im struggling to get out of the mindset of being outcome dependant at the moment. Does anyone have any tips on how to get away from this mindset. I feel its drastically effecting my game at the moment and is noticible in sets
Cheers

inner game.
strengthen your inner game and you'll be sorted.
there are many many resources out there for that.
ideally, the only outcome you should look for is to have fun. also keep that in mind.

What's wrong with "outcome dependent"??
Personally, I am dependent ONLY on outcome. Nearly everything I do is for OUTCOME.
Read this forum. You see so many wussy kids go, "I just had to call her . . . I told her I love her. . . Well, I complained to her that I don't like ____ . . . I told her she was a bitch. . . "
What they do is whatever they want to do. What they do is whatever drives their emotions. What they do is what insecure little chicks do. They have absolutely no outcome in mind. In fact, I seriously think with the gross lack of cognitive function that they display, some animals are more psychological developed to plan for success then them.
Instead, go for what successful people do in every aspect of life. Think of the result/outcome you want FIRST . . . this is your GOAL. Set a strategy. Set tasks to execute that strategy. . . then you fucking execute your like a man.
OUTCOME DEPENDENT is something you should strive to be . . .

I think you're focusing too much on the long term and entering sets without much of a short term outcome to shoot for (# close, k-close).
Aim a little high, but don't shoot for the moon until you're in a good position for it.
