When someone asks you for a favour and you want to help them out with it, like if a friend wants you to read over their assignment before they hand it it, how do you reply?

My standard phrase is "sure, no problem" which of course means "I understand how that can benefit you a lot. It will take one hour of my time. I'll do it for you cause were friends and we help each other out".

Is "sure, no problem" a good answer, or is that too much of a "low power technique"? I mean a definitely want to help the person out, but I don't want it to sound like it is no work and all happiness for me.

(How would this differ if it was a girl you are interested in asking for a favour?)

A favor is a favor I don't think they will mind how you phrase your response, I am guessing it is your friends so they won't be trying to take advantage of you. If you want to do it say yes if you don't say no.
Or if you wnat a different way to respond say something like erm I might have time later, to be honest you are doing a buddy a favor not running game.

Haha, yeah... I'm having kind of difficulty seing where game ends. I'm trying to act out of love. Like in this case I want to do him a favour because I know it will help him out and I care about him. That's it.

But at the same time I'm considering social value and stuff like that. Game just pops into my head. Should it not?

game and the lifestyle are essentially the best version of yourself all the time, instead of that one night you got lucky you want to be the best person you can be all the time. So in theory game is every part of you but the way to look at it is would the best version of you help a buddy out.

If anything doing favors (as long as you aren't being taken advantage of) is a good thing for your social value.

i recently did something with a lady friend,
she asked me to read over a ebay complaint, and if i could make it sound more formal.
i said yes, no problem. emailed it back over to her.
put a comment at the bottom of the email saying 'now you owe me ;) '
her -'like what?
me - 'use your imagination'

so basically we agreed on a night out down the beach, it ended in getting head in the car on the way home, pretty good result
