group eye contact

so when i'm talking to a group of people i usually keep my eyes with the alpha along with switching contact to people when they have reactions to the stories (laugh, ect)

does that sound about right ?
is there any group consensus?
or rule of thumb?

I usually just jump between eyes at pauses in my speech, if you jump between eyes too much you will look a tad weird but just do what feels natural. Also when asking an opinion or waiting for a responses its a good idea to look at everyone, that way everyone feels they should participate.
