Tomorrow I am looking to go out sarging at a club. When I go into clubs, I usually go with friends and feel more comfortable. But I plan to fly solo tomorrow night. Is it a good idea to go without a wingman?

Here is 3 tips i always use, this will help.

1. Sarge during the day, get chatty
2. Arrive at the nightclub around 5:30-6pm and only stay until 8pm
3. Do it on a regular bassis to get used to the lifestyle.

From personal experience I have never had a problem with rolling solo on a given night. Provided I was living in Las Vegas when I did it the most, so walking the strip almost forced you to be social. Infact, it had to be the best place to practice new lines / tricks.

So it all really depends on your comfort level. If its your first time trying, and I hate saying "rely on a drink", but sometimes a couple drinks helps loosen the mindset. Just make sure you don't look like "that guy" in the club acting a complete fool, know your limits. Maintain a sobriety.

Outside of that, just rely on your own personal charm. And just know that you have nothing to lose. Going solo isn't a losing situation if you know how to work it right.

it's only worth it when you have your AA nailed.

if you have been doing approaches in <3s during the day, then by all means head to a club.

if you haven't been doing this, there is the risk you go to the club and get drunk and hardly talk to anyone.

it really depends on where you're at with AA.

It's interesting that you mention Las Vegas, because that is where I live. People say that the strip is the perfect place to meet women, because they are from out of town and are usually more uninhibited when it comes to hooking up with guys. As far as the drinks go, you are right. After having three to four drinks, I am fine. Anything more, and that is just pushing it. Thanks for the advice.

I actually just left Vegas a few weeks ago after living there for three years. I never really got old of the strip oddly enough, but it was time for a change! Here are a few places I frequented when I was on a solo basis:

- Cetrifuge bar (inside MGM, kinda spendy, but decent crowd of ladies at the bar)
- Fat Tuesdays (inside MGM, not for the ladies, but if you want to peacock, what better than a 100oz jug of daquiri, definite attention getter when walking around. $35 for the first one, $25 for refills. it also gives you reason to compare jug sizes with a female) :P
- Coyote Ugly (inside NYNY, ladies are typically more adventurous inside there and the cover isn't ridiculous)
- Heart Bar (inside Planet Hollywood, women there tend to be the trendy high maintenence ones, so be ready!)
- Just walking the strip and confronting groups of women at intersections with random statements like "so whos getting married here?".

So many memories!!! :)

Oh, and always remember, when you hear the phrase "Hey, you want to party?", stay away from them!

I prefer going out alone when it comes to picking up women. There is no pressure when you know you don't have anyone watching you. Plus, I can't speak for anyone else but I don't trust a lot of my friends to be a wing. A good chunk of the regulars that end up in my circle would do anything they could blow me out.
