It seems that as this community grows larger and larger it will become more and more likely that we will meet one of our brothers in arms as it were, pinkyy, my wing, and I have devised a way to identify each other.

It goes as follows:
Q: Have you ever played "Mouse Trap"
A: Yes, for two years now.

or

Q: Have you ever played "Mouse Trap"
A: Yes, for only about four or five nights.

If someone asks someone who doesn't play the game, the simple response, yes or no, would signify that they are not involved.

It also can be used as an opener as no one actually knows how to play that game, or as a routine using the same logic.

Lets spread the word.

If I overhear someone talking about it I will walk up and tell them I know what they are talking about. 1/2 the time they just look at me and the other half we chat and watch each other play

That could be mis interpreted lol.

But it's a good idea. I tought of one myself few weeks back - "Does PUA mean anything?"

The mouse trap is good to distinguish though, it's a smart idea, did you get it out of PUA reading material or just think of it?

Yep, PUA is good.

I just ask "Do you know Mystery?"

problem is a lot of people know mystery and if someone asked me that I would deny it (I would assume they had seen the show on VH1 and fancied inadvertently ruining my game)

Thats true. I have had only a few encounters with "random" pua incounters in england, think its more prominent in the usa though.

The first encounter was with a guy, who started talking to me and amy, my then girlfriend using the spells opener, i let him go on for a while "wanted to see his form", he was good.
When he finished his routine and used the neg "you can dress her up but you cant take her anywere" is about when i chimed in with "she dress's with style, and its a mystery what she'll ware next."

Just droping in style and mystery is more than enough to let a fellow pua know you both play the game. After a lught about it i let him use amy as a pivot, and we both had a good night.

So its not hard to find out a pua just by conversing with them. But a universal code would be a nice idea. But it needs to be agreed on and well thought out.

The idea came from a discussion pinkyy and i had when we were approached by a pua out of the blue. We originally thought about some random question, but felt that it would be too irrelevant.

Then came, well what are we doing? Playing a "game" and so we started thinking of games, I thought Monopoly was a good random enough game, but we finally settled on Mouse Trap because, well in some ways, that is what we are doing, in addition it was random enough that it would not get mistaken if a pua asked another pua.

Trying to create a "secret handshake" doesn't work unless everyone knows about it. Why are you so concerned with creating creepy secret codes anyways though? The community is hardly even underground anymore, so you might as well just get used to the idea that you can openly talk to people about it without any negative consequences. I generally end up talking to at least one person about it every time I go out, regardless of whether they know about it or not and are a guy or a girl.

Um. I'll just stick with things like "Are you a PUA" and "Do you know about the community" .....

I mean the seduction community has been around for a few DECADES now. It's bigger than you think. It's harder to spread a meme to make it a convention than you would imagine.

Understandable that this isn't going to be widespread. I just found it interesting that literally on my first night sarging i was approached by a guy that told me he liked my game and asked me who i followed. take it for what it is, it's still a good opener regardless.

"Have you played Mouse Trap?"
"When I was younger! I love board games!"
"Yeah, but that game sucked. I never even figured that shit out. It's like having a kid build a rube goldberg machine."
