I find nightclubs too noisy and pressurised and prefer to approach females when I'm out and about in shops, libraries etc. I'd like some advice as to what I should be trying to accomplish. Should I just be trying to converse for a couple of minutes and then getting her phone number or should I be asking if I can follow her around or go for a coffee or something?

Both seem a little bit awkward. Just having a brief introduction and getting the number seems more realistic but when I've tried that it seems that the female often seems a little dissapointed that I'm not asking to stick around with her and its also a little embarrasing if you're in the grocery shop and you've just got a babes number and you both still have half your shopping list to put in your trolley.

However, a stranger coming up to you and asking to browse the aisles or shelves with you must be a little daunting for any woman and the conversation difficult for both her and the PUA.

During day game, I have found my best success to be with instant dates. If I meet a girl at the library, after a little conversation I usually will say, "i'm actually just heading down the street to pick up a quick cup of coffee. You should tag along." Something to that effect is perfect for moving the target.
