We know each other through close mutual friends, and have been talking for a couple weeks now. I've been using C&F with some good kino as well. I'd definitely say by now we've established comfort, though i'm unsure if i've created any attraction yet. Anyways, one of my close buddies needs a ride to work around the same time as our lunch date. My question is, would canceling the date build or lower attraction? I've heard mixed results from a lot of people on this subject in the past, but never from a PUA's perspective.

Also I wouldn't recommend a sit-down location for the first date where all you have to do is look at each other and talk about how good the food is. Cancel the lunch and tell her to tag along with you to the mall or somewhere interesting later on. Then when you build enough attraction and rapport, "I'm starving, want to grab a bite?" then take her to dinner, or even better to your place and cook her some food.

Perhaps move it slightly if she's able, otherwise, stick to your plans. I personally view people as cancelling plans without a sufficient reason to be incredibly undependable and they lose a TON of respect from me right away. _________________ "The 'Brick Walls' are there to allow you to prove how badly you want something!" ~ Randy Pausch
