Friend Zone? Possibly, but doubtful

So heres the situation

Met this girl in the last week of college last year
She liked me for a while, but I wasn't about to get into anything a week before school ends. So we leave, go home and begin to chat on AIM and a few texts. I went to Asia for the rest of the summer and didn't talk to her at all. Now I've come back, heres the rub she now has a BF. Yet we have talked briefly online and she claims she can't wait to see me.

Now I'm skeptical about a boyfriend from home in college, and ive seen many a fellow get dumped three weeks into college, I call it "Real World syndrome." After the countless number of cast mates on the MTV show "The Real World" who went into the house praising there spouses, saying how they would never cheat, ever, only to get fingerbanged the next night by that hunk of man cheese from Texas.

But I digress...

The questions,
Am I in the friend zone at all?
If so, how do I exit?
should I be the one to break up this relationship? (because I believe I have the ability to.)
And lastly, what would be the best course of action to woo this girl into leaving her bf, a strong approach, slow and steady or wait and see?

Hey Max Power!

The situation seems common, as i have heard this story a few times. If you're think that this girl thinks of you as "only a friend" then it's time to change, yup, become a different person to who you were when ya first met. She will recognize you from before but something different about you. She will be Interested again, and may feel some attracted. What to change is up to you, maybe you can became more Spiritual from the Asia trip, its up to you.
