Well, I'm gonna post it here b/c i can't post in FR yet (not cool enough for school). Anyway, I hung out with this girl for about 3 hours at the beach, but didn't really get the chance to do anything b/c of the situation. My mom was there, my best friend (who refuses to support me and laughs aloud when i run game *the douche*) and I just got an uncomfortable with those two there, so i couldn't run anything. Towards the end, my dad and sister showed up to play volleyball, so it was even more awkward.
ANYWAY. Shit gets better.
I try to set up a nite at a karaoke bar with her (she's 19 but i know people at this K bar i go to and I could easily get her in.) It turns out she can't come b/c of family issues, so I let her know that I'm sorry she can't make it, but I'm gonna have hella fun w/o her. I get a bit of liquid courage in me, and this is where the nite gets better.
A 5 set walks in. I've always thought about this. I know its a 3 second rule, but if the set JUST walked in, how can you approach w/o seeming needy and afc??? So, i just chilled in my stool, leaned back, and didn't even make eye contact. It was 2 dudes and 3 to 4 girls. For about 10 minutes, I was just chillin, waitin for my song (i'm a killer singer), and the set actually goes out on the dance floor.
Well, there wasn't enough guy/girl ration, but rather than throw myself into them, I waited. When they stopped, they came up to me and some regulars with whom i'm good friends and an HB 7 says "You guys are all boring, no fun, no fun" and she walks away. I almost, ALMOST walked up to here and said "Did you ever think that maybe you are the boring one?" But I convinced myself not to.
In another couple minutes, they started dancing again and one of the girls (HB5) comes up to me and says she needs to dance with me to win a bet with her friend "who can dance the most". Normally I would just jump in, but after reading this, I said to myself *FUCK THAT*.
"whoa whoa whoa sweety. I don't even know you and you're trying to rub up on me? You need to at least buy me a drink so I can consider it." I actually saw the light in her eyes fade away, and she realized I was no fucking chump. She grabbed my arm and said " Please please, she's beating me already, we can talk on the dance floor". I noticed her friend HB7 was on the dance floor with another guy, and I said, "She's totally beating you now, so what's the point? And more importantly, whats in it for me?" Directly after that, I think i witnessed what is the reffered to as the "Triangle Gaze"???? but i could be wrong.
anyway, after a bit more pleading, I said "Oh alrite, just this once". So we danced. I'm a terrible dancer, but shit, FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT. As we're dancing she's trying to tell me about herself and mostly i'm just rolling off, showing no interest. I realize that HB7 is looking my way and noticing my disinterest.
Lets do this guys, I don't mean to be a douche, but its late, i'm tired, this is the newbie questions forum, and i'm still learning. Probably no one will read this, so I'm not going to go into full detail. But I will say this.
End of the night.
Pull HB7 aside and say " I'm heading out but I want your number b/c i want to know if there is anything more to you besides a good dancer". She says ok and I like to put the phone in THEIR hands, they just go autopilot. But she can't figure out my smartphone so she says
"
Please put it in for me, I can't do it." To me, that please made my nite. She really wanted me to have her number, haha! Better yet, after i put her number in, I said "your going in my phone as silly whitley. No wait, better yet swinging whitley" She says "you can put it in however you want"......
I say "Ok, gimme a goodnite kiss" I pull her in and fucking K close.
I'm new to this shit guys, but i'm excited as hell now. I actually want to crash and burn so I can get that out of the way asap and know what it feels like....and then just keep sarging thru it =)..
Anyway, i'm really happy i found you all, and I hope to continue learning.
