Okay so I met this HB8 while she was working a while back. Last week we got together and went out for drinks. It was going pretty good but then her roommate called and wanted to join us. We picked her up and went out that night and all had a pretty good time. Although her roommate cockblocked me most of the night just by being there.

At one point I did try to escalate kino with my date but her roommate being there kind of kept me at a distance. So anyways, at the end of the night Im dropping them off and it was just a friendly 'thanks for the night' and no real opportunity for anything more. She is leaving town for holidays and I told her to have a nice time, she said that I would see her again before she left.

So the next night she knew where I was going to be and her and her roommate come meet me again. We went out with them awhile and all hung out with my friends and bullshit and drank. At some point in the night we eventually parted ways and she looked kinda bummed when we left for another bar. She is cute but I can see she is crazy. She is new in town and recently single.

Did I somehow just end up in the friends' zone with her already? Is this something I did wrong or just a result of the way things played out? It seems from some of the signs I have got that she does have some attraction towards me but may just be excited to have a fun friend to go out with.

Should I just cut my losses and make a new friend? Or should I try to swing it the other way?
