Long-pre-story-short: I met this HB8 last semester, starting talking to her at the end of the semester, her boyfriend or whatever bitched me out so I stopped talking to her. My roommate and other buddy have class with her this semester, they start talking to her. She tells them she didn't know her now ex-boyfriend said shit to me and was upset to find this out. Now she has a new boyfriend.

So tonight, my buddies (roommate and other buddy) start asking around for weed. They ask her, and she has some so she agrees to sell them some. They meet up, then she comes back to my buddy's apartment (same complex as mine) to study for their final tomorrow. They invite me over, I come over to chill. They start smoking, something I don't do anymore. So I'm sitting there with them shooting the shit while they are all high. Akward, a little, but pretty entertaining. Now my buddy is recently single, but I'm not sure if he wants this chick. She smokes, both weed and cigs, and thats something I'm not cool with. So I probably wouldn't want her as a girlfriend, more of a lay/party chick. Throughout the night she kept informing us that her and her current boyfriend are fighting, that she has been crying the last few days, so I'm pretty sure she is interested in one of us. Which one is still up in the air. Would it be a dick move to try to pick her up for a lay, but prevent my buddy from getting at her? Of course I'm going to ask him what he thinks about it, but he may not tell the truth about it.

If he wanted a relationship and u just want to get laid, then it might be a little.
But who cares, may the best man win. When me and my buds are at a party or a club, and we all think this one chick is smoking, or what ev, we will always compete for her, no hard feelings who wins.
But depending on how close you are with your friend, prob a good idea to talk to him first

He used to be a really good friend, and still is I guess, but he isn't being that great of a friend lately. Plus, ever since he broke up with his girlfriend, he has been really strange around us. We all think he went to go see some girl in Texas for the weekend because it was her prom, because none of us heard from him and he took off work. And he never wants to go to any parties anymore, he just wants to get high and sit around. Oh well, I'll see how far I can get with this chick.
