I've been doing research and came across an article on why women cheat, which sounded like it could be useful. Said mostly women cheat because they don't get enough of affection, appreciation, and attention at home? Since I'm "older" alot of women i come into contact with are either unhappily married or divorced. This just kind of confuses me as to compliments. Alot of what I'm reading on PUA says not to give them the upper hand by complimenting, but it seems like if they aren't getting it at home, compliments would be useful.
I have 2 situations going. One who's husband left her for a younger woman and the other who's husband is loaded, owns his own business and doesn't pay attention to her.

Just because you aren't flat out giving her compliments on stuff all the time, doesn't mean you can't comment on things in an appreciative manner. Women want to be appreciated, just like you do, so when they do something that you liked, you can show them that you liked it, by giving them kino, smiling at them, or saying something as simple as, "thanks", "well done", "nicely put", etc.

It's a guidline, not a rule, there are no rules.
