Me and a buddie decided we were gonna just hit the town and see where the wind blew us last night.... We stop offf at a sports bar for a bit and then bounce to the alley for ladies night. Upon arrival we get in line behind a couple guys they have no line no cover tickets and hook us up... not a bad start. We get inside and right away these three girls pass us, one of which happens to be my buddies coworker. They stop and start talking to us, at this point it was pretty early and there were maybe 50 people in the whole place. Me and my friend leaning agains the wall and 3 girls just leaning in and eating up every word. I look around and notice at least half a dozen girls looking at me and my buddie (social proof in action
). We talk for a bit then tell them well catch em later. We open a few sets but nothing major comes of any of them, then the girls come and find us again we talk about some more bs and this happens:
Hb- Can you hold my drink? (she was double fistin' and her phone rang or something)
Me- Do i look like a waiter?
Hb- No just hold it.
Me- Whats in it for me?
Hb- Nothing....
Me- No deal give it to your friend.
Hb- Here (shoves drink into my hand then looks down to find phone)
Me- (chug her drink before she looks up) Ah that hit the spot! Thanks! (hand her back the empty glass)
Hb- OMG BLAH BLAH BLAH
Hb friends (laughing their asses off)
Me- (keeping a straight face and holding eye contact)
Hb- You jerk. BLAH BLAH BLAH (hits me and starts play fighting)
Basically I saw this as a shit test and her trying to push my limits and fuck with my frame. I stood strong and basically told her with my actions "THIS IS MY HOUSE!" LOL. I learned you can be push the limits and do what you want when as long as there are congruencies and you stand your ground. It also got her friends laughing at her making them love me more and her need to gain my acceptance. We keep talking and we get them to buy shots for the 5 of us and another drink for me and my friend. (Before the bar we said we would only buy 4 drinks so we could keep our shit tight and learn as much as we could from the interactions.... Maybe we should have just said 4 drinks all night
this was begining to get sloppy.)
So we bounce again and open one of the shooter girls:
Friend- Hey, can we get ur opinion on something?
Hired Gun- Yeah sure.
Friend- A couple guys out front offered to get us in for free tonight. Do we look gay to you?
Hired Gun- HAHA No, I think those guys were my friends you need 4 people to use the tickets.
Friend- Are you saying were not attractive!
Hired Gun- No! hehe No!
Friend- Your diggin a hole sweetie.
This was an opener by my buddie using something that had happened to us that night, I watched how he turned something that others would have not even mentioned agin into an opener and made it fun. This sort of thinking on the spot came off natural and showed! Adding little cocky remarks and twisting her words in a playful way was awesome! This also reduces the risk of using an opener on the same people twice... which i came to realize can happen :0.
I see this 3 set standing by the bar and roll up beside them open over the shoulder and one of the girls says hey i know you from somewhere. I ask where blah blah blah she cant remember so I start a canned mystery routine. They are like hey there was another guy that asked us this once... at this point im like fuck it was totally me cause i have personalized it... I can see this becoming a problem again... This makes me want to stay away from canned material or have more than one opener that I routinly use. What are your thoughts? How do you guys come up with openers on the spot?
Later on in the night the girls from the begining of the night find us again. They continue to buy us drinks and are just hooked by our everyword. My target was the strongest one in the group the one that doesnt take shit and can throw it right back. I played it cool challanged her and gave her little attention... As the night went on I built up the kino with a touch here and there but then taking it away when she didnt comply. I could tell when this happened her and her friends took note of this and watched her work for my attention. We ended up leaving the club and going to their house to continue the "party"
This was my first F-close the same night meeting a girl. I saw it as icing on the cake considering all the things I learned from the interactions of the night. It was also my first time going to the bar with a wing. It was only the two of us which made it tougher for me. When at a club and there is only 2 of you should you both enter the set at the same time? If not what does the wing do until it is time to enter? How do you introduce your targets to the wing, how do you get him in the convo? Can this introduction somehoe be a DHV as well? ( this is my friend... he just got back from skydiving in pheonix???)
