i often find myself in the situation when a girl says something about a guy around or a guy she met recently that he`s cute, so charming, so pretty etc. why should this even interest me? why she tells me this? i dont bloody care. is this a sign that i`ve been a too nice guy with him? i dont know. but i never seem to find a good answer to them and that sucks. it kinda makes me feel that i have no chance to be those cool guys who atract the girls i like. how should i react when a girl starts speaking about this? i dont want to be the cool guy, no way, but it just makes me feel that i am less atractive and have less chance with her.

that is the most usual shit test i get,dont give any importance in most cases she is only shit testing you to see your reactions and or making you jeleous.

Yea, that's how I would play it. Just talk him up so much that he actually falls short. You could even throw in a false-disqualifier. Also, what I like to do is to befriend the guy, if she likes him he's probly in a good crowd so it opens up your network.

She could be either:

A) testing to see how you react. This could be tricky and really depends on the girl on how to handle it. Some girls might be using it as a round about way to see if you like her. In confident girls its a test and the best thing to do is to act like its of little importance to you.

B) subtle way of showing that you are a friend. Ouch, Sad but true. If a girl is really into a guy she usually tries not to bring up guys she is interested in.

This is quite true. Unless the girl is a real party-girl, she would be careful about bring up other guys if she's into *you*.
