Hey guys, I'm just getting started in this stuff and I had a question.

Last night, I did better than I normally do, I opened about 3 or 4 sets and carried on conversation, talked fluff and shit. I just trying to get accustomed to introducing myself to new people.

I often wander a lot when I go out, I'll get separated from my friends and check back in with them in a little while, tbh i'm looking around for potential sets. Does wandering around a venue lower my social value? I've heard a few of my friends that are girls say about one guy "Oh I saw him wandering around on his own for a while, idk about him."

I did this last night and I could feel some people eyeing me down about it, I don't really care, but I was wondering if I should be doing this or not. If not, what other alternatives should I use considering there may be no girls that I would happen to find attractive in the particular spot of the place I'm at? I wanna go search around the venue to see what's going on but I feel like I may be building up a bad rep by doing this. Opinions? Thank guys.
