Congratulate the birthday person (birthdayer, is that what you call it?) and then proceed...

Touch the person as a child touching something new for the first time, and look in amazement...

You: "Does it hurt?"

Birthdayer: What hurts?

You: "Getting older"

LOL

It's not the best C&F and maybe it's not even cocky, just funny and plus: it works better if you're live with the person...
