19 years old. Fairly attractive, but brown (south asian; ik date plenty of girls only date white guys especially where I'm from so I thought I'd mention that). Like 5'8ish (maybe a bit shorter) Athletic to skinny build. Had a couple girlfriends. Depleting self esteem. Seem to keep getting rejected now. My main problem seems to be texting. I can somehow get a girls number and she'll be interested but when Ii text her and ask her out, shell say no.

I generally try to keep it short and sweet before I ask her out, is this bad for a college setting? Should I try to build more rapport over text first?
