It's been a while since I asked for your help since I was able to stand my ground the last year
But now I need to fall back to this forum and seeking your advice and opinions.

I had myself a date with gorgeous & smart girl.
This girl is no stranger to me. We both are from the same town and played sports together.
But I never intended to seduce this girl since I just wanted to catch up and go our own ways again. ( + I thought she had a boyfriend)
As the date progressed I got more attracted to this girl and well into the date I started to do my normal 'date routine'. Things got more intense for sure but nothing happened in the end since. ( thanks to my passive sloppy start )
But I was confident that on a second date I would be able to pull her.
So I asked for her number and that's when I got caught of guard . ( date had been set up through fb messenger)

At first she didn't wanted to give her number since we could continue setting up dates with messenger.
I came up with a good excuse that made her laugh and made her give her number but she told me this.
'I'm just not looking for anything right now since my last relationship ended up with the guy cheating on me and I'm still not over it"

Is this her way of telling me she is not interested ?

During the date we touched a lot, interlocked arms while walking, sitting next to each other like we were already had a thing going.


It's been a while since since I got rejected so I can't really tell if she is just not interested or afraid to get hurt again.( sorry don't want to appear cocky or anything, I guess I was just lucky this last year)
