As you can guess I live in a small town in Michigan, the only thing around is the university and other small town like Cold water, Gastown, Coletown ect. I just started to real try to teach myself and I'm on day 4 of "rules of that games."
I just wanted to know if some rules change in small towns and ideas to go run my game in small towns. the closes clubs are an hour drive away.
Rules don't really change for small towns but some of the flashy pickup game stuff doesn't go as well. You may have to tone down your pace on things. I know growing up in smaller town Kentucky I'd have to slow things down and not be as fast paced as in a bigger city like Nashville, Orlando, etc. Other than that people are all wired the same so you're using the same triggers.
I would HIGHLY recommend you make the drive to practice. It takes practice to get good and if you are fishing out of a small barrel you're going to run out of fish faster than that of a bigger barrel. So go find a bigger barrel so you can do more approaches in less time and ramp up your knowledge.
