Hi guys

I'm the definition of an AFC! I've tried game on and off with varying results. Im a fairly good looking guy, but I've been in a major slump ever since my wife and I separated 9 months ago. I haven't rushed into anything with anyone mainly because I haven't been interested in anybody worth a damn. I do however have a cute mail girl that delivers my mail. We've never talked for long but every time I see her, she's always very friendly and smiles at me a lot. I'd like to find a way to learn more about her and get to know her better, but I don't really know how to go about doing it. I can stop her, talk to her and get her name without too much of a problem, but how do I take it further? How do you get a complete stranger to agree to spend time with you? I'm sure this seems simple to most of you, but for someone who doesn't have your skill set, it's much more difficult. Any help is appreciated.

You aren't looking very hard then. There are quality women as far as the eye can see.
I can give you instructions for this 'one girl' in fact here is a posting i made (scroll down on the page) about initial interactions - how-do-you-get-the-girl-to-show-up-vt185507.html - however, it will fall flat if you go in hoping against hope it 'works' with this one individual girl. Much better to get out there and just start striking up conversations with women you find appealing.

So jump in the pool, risk "rejection" and put yourself out there - you will thank yourself.

Slow game it man.

You see the woman all the time so you don't have to necessarily rush to pull any triggers right away. Especially while not experienced. I'd also recommend you sign up for a couple online dating sites (Okcupid, POF, Tinder) just to get your wheels turning again. I know you've been married for a while, but theres now millions of women on these sites open to meeting, dating, and sleeping with you. Both sites are free by the way.

As far as the mail lady; she'll become less of a challenge once you start getting some other women in your life. Just start by asking her what her name is the next time you see her. Tell her yours and then reach out to shake her hand. Let her know that you see her a lot, and was just curious. If she responds favorably - push -. Tell her you know she has a route to run, but if you don't mind dating a man from work (tongue and cheek), that you two should grab a drink one night. Then grab her number quickly and let her get back to work.

If she responds, neutrally, just leave things there and kick up another conversation with her a few days later. Casually, just to get the ball of communication rolling between you.
