Hi guys, this is my first post as i have recently discovered PUA after seeing a tv show. I have been reading around the forum but in general lack the ability to use the vocab so apologise.

Im thinking PUA techniques could come into use in my current situation and of course the future.

My current situation is a girl HB 8 who i work with. Before xmas i slowly built up what was an obvious attraction over a couple of weeks mainly by being cocky and funny and general flirting/teasing which resulted in her giving so called IOI such as constantly playing with her hair and always agreeing with what i was saying as if she was in awe of me just in general. Shes not the type to iniate kino however and i hadnt discoverd the pua community at this point so didnt have a clue just went with flow normally.

I ask for her number and we text each other over a week before i decide to ask her on a date (very afc i think is term but in short ametur not a clue). She says not now because its middle of her examination period but maybe after we can go to the cinema if i give her a call in 3 weeks time.

I then left it feeling this was a brush off and would look desperate if i rang back as i hadnt seen her as i changed departments but after 3 weeks her mates ring me up jokin about asking if i was the guy whod asked their mate out with gigglin then cut off. Even more reason to ignore i think.

I then go to my old department other day and see her. As i walk in her direction she looks at me but realising its me instantly pretends she hasnt seen me. I then ignored her thinkin she was ignoring me so play hard to get shall we say.

I am then clearing out my locker in staffroom and she comes in and is stood by me but not a word is said tension you can tell is in air. Her co worker HB 6.5 who she speaks to (and who i get on with well) is then stood by me as i turn around so we have basic conversation while still ignoring the HB8 i secretly want. I then leave the staff room but look in direction of HB 8 who is looking at me with quite an unhappy angry face. Still not a word is said and i walk out.

I really want this HB 8 because she ticks all the boxs not just pure looks. Hopefully i will be going back to her deparement again once a week over next few weeks but what is you views on what i should do. Just give up or try and iniate conversation and use the pua techniques i have been reading up on throughout forum last few days??

So, she sets up a potential future time and you take it as a brushoff.
Sure, it may have been, but maybe not. You had attraction, you were doing well. There is a chance she was genuinely busy y'know.

But, by ignoring her when she was POSSIBLY interested you were burning a POTENTIAL bridge.
I'll only advocate doing that if you've beccome obsessed. Then cut her out of your life.
Or if you're sure she's playing with and flaking on you. Do not stand for that shit.
But cutting off a possible future date and lay.
