| Good article Dragula posted! What it basically means, just to use different words, is that you should be playful and teasing the girl. Self amusement is also a buzzword that goes hand in hand with this. Be playful and tease as a mean to self amuse.
There is one trick you can use to make sure the girl associates the positive feelings (the buying temperature) with you, so she doesn't go home with some other random guy. It is to make sure that she has a great time and lots of fun while you are around, but less fun when you are away. It's not the easiest thing to pull off, because you have to make sure you are more fun than anyone else in her company, and you also have to make sure that you leave the set a couple of times so she can experience the difference.
For at least two reasons, the one I just mentioned, and to avoid having to deal with awkward silences and become bored/boring, you better make sure you leave the set at an emotional peak, and come back later. It also demonstrates non neediness to do so, and that you're not clingy.
If things get boring regardless, it's good to be mindful and comment on what you are experiencing at that very moment, in a playful and teasing way. Like "oh shit, you look sooo BORED!? I better leave". Hopefully that will ease things up and make her laugh. But make sure to leave until you feel inspired again, to be that fun guy.
