So I was at a festival this past weekend and I chatted with this girl for a bit who is an HB9, we ended up just kind of losing each other since there was a lot of people and we were both a little drunk but I got her first name, diane.

Next day I was browsing facebook and I see Diane pop up in the "people you may know" section. I friend requested her and she accepted and the messages went like this,

Me: Hey! I think you're the Diane that I met at the festival, you had the man voice thing going on right?

Her: Haha, I have no idea maybe me, I lost my voice at the festival

Me: Eh, I guess the whole SPAM voice thing is pretty badass though! at least thats all you got, I ended up legit sick

Her: Yea, I havent been here in 3 years because the last time I went I was unbelievably sick afterwards, I feel pretty good so far! No weird virus or flu yet lol

Me: Yea, I either got some kind of virus from the nasty water or aids! I ended up with random cuts on me like all over!
I also ended up sick last year, maybe I should've planned on it...


I see that I should've escalated the conversation, and left my questions more open ended for her to respond.

This was on Tuesday the last message was sent, and I want to get the conversation back up and flowing without seeming creepy because I really wanna meet up with this girl, so if you guys could give me any help on how to kick start this thing back up I would appreciate it so much!

Nothing says love like talking about viruses and illness.

I'd go direct. Tell her you enjoyed talking to her the other night and would really like to grab a drink with her.

I'll be honest with you, though, man: all you did was chat her up, then you lost her... This may be nothing at all.

Worth trying anyway.

I guess what I'm asking now is how should I go about starting the conversation back up so I can get to the point of asking her to get a drink quickly because I feel like if I just start with that then she wont respond back to me

And I think what I'm saying is your interaction was really basic when you met. You don't mention IOIs. Did you touch? Laugh? Flirt? Kiss?

These are all relevant.

If you did none of these - you may be wasting your time and simply seeing what you want to see (keep in mind this girl didn't give you her contact info... You sniffed it out yourself).

If you think she's interested... Like I said: I would personally go direct and say what I told you to say.

This is one girl with such a flimsy foundation. Why waste your time on something if she's not interested. She'll either say yes or no - and you can either act accordingly or go about your life and find another 100 girls just like this one.
