so ive been gaming in group of girls and solo
but never tried mix
how should i start approaching mix? and when? how do i know im ready
its also because im afraid of fist fights

No ones going to fight for starting a conversation. As long as you aren't being disrespectful I don't think you have anything to worry about. Guys respect guys that they see approaching, because many of them don't have that confidence themselves. They see you as a potential leader. Doing things they wouldn't.

Go do it first. And if you run into issues, come back here and ask how to avoid them.

thanks guys for the push.. i did approach a mixed set
and the guy just went quiet although im already 100% sure that he is not her boyfriend
what happened was the guy was sitting quite far from the girl i did not put much attention to the guy
but went straight opener to the girl the guy was just quiet as i was talking to her.
