Hi guys,

Bit of a random one this one:

Had a couple of good dates with a girl in January, then she went cold. Sent a couple of texts, no reply. Fine, moved on (and I did). Was cleaning up my phonebook in early April, and thought, why not? I'll send one light, non-committal message, it's been a few months. If no reply, deletion.

ME: Hey you. Thought I'd touch base, just in case you've got rich.

HER: (4 days later): Sorry about how things ended, I probably wasn't in the best place to be trying to date at the time, so I'm sorry for screwing that up/being shit. I've not got rich, I'm afraid! Hope you're having a nice weekend.

Any thoughts? I'm not usually the kind of guy to revisit things like this. How would you guys play this one?

She's qualifying herself and investing a lot towards you. I wouldn't be reactive and just be light and playful. Try to set something up again and close the deal.
