Basically I have this friend who's kinda seeing this girl. When he's sober there isn't too much of a problem, but worse when there's alcohol involved. The last time we was out he was pushing me while he was talking to this girl. I didn't want to escalate the situation or turn into a fight/argument. How can I avoid shit like this happening because it's making me look like a pussy.

Also whenever there's girls around sometimes they boys in my group try to insult me to impress them how can I avoid this.

It's not a case of get new friends, I like them we are kind of bastards to each other and have harsh jokes with each other. That's just our humour which I like. It's just round girls it feels a bit different or around new people, it feels as though they're trying to show off, when I could equally talk shit back I just don't feel they need to.

Any ideas ?
