Long story short,

Went after a girl who had a bf, although I did not know that at the time. She friendzoned me. Because she is cool and all we kept hanging out.

Later she broke up with him. I sugested a friends with benefits arangement, she turned me down. Thinking she wanted something more serious I tried going for a relationship and lost her to another guy.

My rookie mistakes: poor escalation (too scared of making it wierd) and telling I liked her instead of showing it.

What she didn't expect: I did not became a beta orbiter. I still hang out with her, we're still friends, and I'm cool with that. But giving her rides to go here and there, cancelling other plans to be with her, answering fb tags or messages right away, thats over. And she complained about it. Also I get a clear feeling she is not that much into her new bf.

Now the problem at hand:

She seems more receptive to my escalations. Still texts and chats me up all the time and is constantly posting stuff on my fb. Even more than when she was single. Recently she posted a pic of the two of us, something she had never done before.

Whatever she does with her bf, she wants to do with me. And vice versa. If we go somewhere a few days later she mentions she went there again. When she tells me she went to some place new or did something new she always says "we have to do it".

And now this is what got me thinking. Remember I said a few months ago she refused a fwb arrangement? A few days ago she posted the following quote on my wall: «If fucking alone is boring you should fuck with a friend. It gives you that feeling of "we're fucked but we're together"»

Feels like she is playing a game. If she is, I'm down to play... and win. I'm seriously thinking about going cold, updating my SPAM pic to a pic with me kissing some chick I met a while back and forcing her to make a move.

Any thoughts?

Personally, I think she has you wrapped around her finger.

Seems like a huge waste of time to me. Make a move and find out the truth.
