Well I've been talking with an old ex of mine for the last couple of months.

Started of friendly and it's slowly progressed. A couple of weeks ago I met up with her she'd had a couple of drinks, she kept asking for a kiss, after about 3 times asking I finally gave in and kissed her.

Since then things have heated up a little bit, she's started sending through naughty snaps etc. However she has some serious hot and cold issues!
She'll go from messaging me telling me she wants me, to absoloutely disiping me within a day... and I stupidly react and always have a pop telling her how much I can't deal with her bi-polar like attitude. (probably because I've got a bit of a soft spot for her)

She's spoken about coming round to mine a few times but always flakes...

Starting to think she's a lost cause, do I cut it off or is there still a chance?

Sounds like she is a classic attention seeker, she loves the drama and just wants you to chase her.

It doesn't sound like a lost cause, by all accounts you could definitely sleep with her from what you are saying but you should probably take a step back though. Don't react so much when she acts like that, just be like whatever and show that it doesn't bother you, show her that you don't need that crap and there are plenty of other girls, she will eventually get the message. Also make sure the "naught snaps" keep coming

In future I'll just act as if I don't care as much, in the past I've done that and she didn't speak to me for a couple of days then all of a sudden I'll get a message like "i miss your voice" and she'll start talking to me again, sometimes coming on stronger than before.

Just need to keep that in my head next time she kicks off rather than getting agrovated by her!

Yeh man it sounds pretty textbook, she's only acting like that to get a rise out of you to get attention.

Maybe just try withdrawing a bit and like you said she will start to chase you again, staying cool and calm no matter what the situation is a very good quality to have.

Flake her on the next time you guys are set to hang out.

And don't text her back for the remainder of that day you flake. She'll contact a second or third time, but just respond in 24 hours.

That will shift the tide in your direction.
