Is there anything wrong after meeting a woman and telling her that I don't want a serious relationship and that I only want to "make love and be friends"? Is that too straight forward?

It's better to keep things vague and just game her normally and escalate for the kiss and pull. If she asks you what type of relationship you want, you can say something like, "I'm just living in the moment and seeing where things go" and then transition into something else.
