Well, let's make a long story short.

Me and her were in the same highschool for 3 years. When we were there, we never had any sort of relationship, we rarely spoke, and it was all about school.

A female mutual friend works in a pub and is responsible for the bands, and she needed a band quickly. She knew that I could play the guitar and that the other girl (let's call her Jane), could sing. So we met again 2 years after highschool and were in my house for 2 days for around 8 hours of practice (we had only two days to rehearse so we could play).

After all that, I like the whole thing and she liked it too. We seem to have bonded because of all this, and we decided to make a 2-person band. The thing is, she is gorgeous.

I liked her in highschool, and now I like her even more. The main problem is that she has a boyfriend who is rich,handsome and all that jazz. I learned that she cheated her though by someone else, but she forgave him.

Also we were discussing, and she told me indirectly that she is kinda bored and tired with the whole situation.

Now we are 'friends'. We IM in facebook, joke around and stuff. I can sense that she kinda likes me but she is hard to read sometimes.

What should I do to make it happen? I don't want to express my feelings directly because a) it would destroy the band and b) she would reject me >50% .

I want to make her like me first and after that I'll know what to do.

If I say the band, I know what answer I'll get, so let's say her.

Then be ready to burn the band because that's not your real objective with this girl, correct? Quit worrying about the >50% rejection because you said you can tell that she kind of likes you already. Quit worrying about the boyfriend because she already told you that she's getting tired of him anyways. Quit worrying about getting her to like you first before you do anything, because that won't work.
