I've known this girl for a few months now, and recently our conversations have been very flirty and she's shown a a lot of IOI's (we're both 18, seniors in high school). Last night, I went over to her house to watch a movie, which was our second time hanging out alone (we hadn't kissed either). Her parents went out to dinner, and her little brother was in the basement with some of his friends, so we watched the movie in the living room. Occasionally, her brother and dog would come and cockblock, but I was still able to escalate. We didn't have sex, but we ended up making out for a good 30 minutes on her couch, mostly with me on top of her. After this, we sat and talked for 20 minutes with her lying on me and my arm around her. Then, her parents came home, and I left 10 minutes later after kissing her goodbye.

I’m relatively new to pickup, so my question is how can I turn this into an LTR? I don’t see her often in school besides the occasional pass-by in the hallway, so most of my contact with her comes from texting and hanging out on the weekends (we have mutual friends that we usually hang with every weekend, that’s how we started talking). I’m considering texting her saying good luck for her dance recital later today, but I feel it could be too soon and come across as needy. If I don’t text her, I might not see her in school to talk. I already have a little bit of a player/douche reputation in my school, so if I don’t talk to her for a few days she may think I just used her to hook up.

I’ll definitely text her on Wednesday or Thursday to make weekend plans, but how soon should I talk to her so I don’t come across as either too needy or an asshole if I wait too long? I think I’ve done a good job keeping my frame and getting her very interested in me, but I would like to turn it into an LTR as I do really enjoy spending time with her.

My 2 cents is you're being completely over eager and there's no reason to lock a chick down after 2 dates. Further to that, don't ask her - let her ask you... Always let the girl tell you she wants to be exclusive, then decide whether that suits you or not.

Now beyond being over eager (like, big time) - there's nothing wrong with texting when you feel like it and calling when you feel like it. Just don't go nuts and become a creep or a stalker and you're good.

I mean obviously I wouldn't start asking her "what are we" or tell her that we should be exclusive. That's her job, I just want to make sure I don't come off as too needy since I'm usually too indifferent to put effort into pursuing girls after I hook up with them.

LTR was a poor choice of words. I was thinking more along the lines of dating for a few months until we go to college.
