Ok this girl was on my line, I do enjoy her and we been out on several dates with lays.
I put her on my back burner because I was busy and what not. Recently she has been calling me and initiating conversation with me. So I haven't seen her in awhile so I invite her out for this really nice event. Kinda bummed out because I was really looking forward to see her, cancelled on me with a 2 day notice, she said she had to do something with her mom. Responded with saying "Ok cool no prob, next time". She further explained her issue with the timing and etc, then I decided to let the ball be in her court and say "contact me whenever your free to chill". She responded with Ok cool, my plan now is to just freeze her out and will not ask her out again until she contacts me again.

I understand flakes does happen, I think it was genuine however who knows. Just weird because this girl calls me late at night and texts me randomly to see what I'm doing however something "came up" when she has the opportunity to see me. I've been out on dates with her in the past without any cancels. I will just play it cool, move on, ball in her court, and wait for her to come to me. I hate cancels but I will just take my friend out to the event and take a picture and post it on Instagram to make her wonder about who I was with and leave it at that.
