Well my question is when she said that comment was I been challenge ? or was she just giving me a warning not to try?

Yes it was a full on shit test. Tell her to get her mind out of the gutter next time she says that. Or say "I'm sitting here talking about Kurt Cobain and all you can think about is having sex with me? Focus!" and blow her off indirectly. Or say "hahahaha what I'm doing after this is for me to know and u to never find out babe." She was imagining fucking you in all probability. From time to time I get a version of the same thing you speak of when I drink. Women do eat that attitude up in general.

Any time a girl, unsolicited says "We're not having sex" that means "I want to fuck you right now, but I'm trying to convince myself not to".
