What do you think of applying marketing techniques in order to attract women?

Like those in the book INFLUENCE.

Reciprocity - idk for this one I don't think it can influence women if you are nice toward them - this makes you wuss.

Commitment and consistency - if you lead her to take baby steps, she will be more complaint to do bigger things.

Scarcity - people in general want something that is scare

Authority - women are attracted to men who have status

Social Proof - in dating world they call it preselection)

Liking - idk about this one. I guess if a women is similar to your interest the chance to get attracted to you is higher.


So what do you think about it. Do you think those really can work to attract women or its manipulative.

To answer your question simply, yes. Those same principals apply to sales too.

Is it manipulative...?

Well... is marketing manipulative? I'd say so. But do people complain that they got duped into buying a new BMW cause their marketing was good? Usually not.

Manipulating someone is only a bad thing if you intend to hurt them in some way. Otherwise, people get manipulated every day. It's not a bad thing to be socially smarter than someone else.
